A little extra gemstone feature on my popular Ember pendant. Oxidised sterling silver, 24 karat gold keum boo hand gilding & a gorgous Madiera citrine.
Keum boo is the application of a pure 24k gold layer over the silver. This ancient Korean technique uses only heat, pressure and patience and allows me to place the tiny flakes of gold exactly where I want them to be.
