Tribe Earrings
A little deviation from my usual materials... these earrings are hand made from solid, hand beaten copper.
When heated copper produces some stunning colours, which usually disappear when you are working. If you are careful you can capture the beautiful random aurora of colours and this is what you see here!
 
The earrings are around 1.5" total drop and are suspended from sterling silver earring hooks.
 
The copper has been protected with a coat of clear lacquer to preserve the colours.
 
Care: simply wipe with a soft cloth. Do not use dips or chemical cloths and as with all jewellery, keep away from bleaches, perfume. chemicals and hairsprays.
