This is truly a one of a kind piece of fossilised wood opal, a naturally occurring winter scene immortalized in stone.
This reminded me so much of an impressionist painting of a winter fell through the trees, all it needed was a silver frame to turn it into wearable art.
This has been set in a solid silver, hand made mount with freehand edges and silver pebble details. It has been finished with frosty, ice blue topaz accent stones.
This is a large, showy piece, fully hallmarked at Edinburgh Assay Office.
